         中央研究院主題研究計畫:正典的生成:台灣文學與世界文學的關係

       2003(92年)成果報告中、英文摘要

本計畫於九十一年一月開始進行,九十二年度為計畫之第二年。本年度工作,總計畫方面開始籌備九十三年七月舉辦之國際研討會,擬與蔣經國基金會及哥倫比亞大學蔣經國中心合作,進行三天會議。各子計畫則按照各自進度,進行資料蒐集及論文撰寫等研究工作。子計畫「日本近代文學對台灣新文學的影響」,本年度黃英哲完成日據時期台灣偵探小說目錄,垂水千惠出版五篇論文。陳芳明的子計畫「馬克思主義與三年代的台灣文學 (1930-1937)」,出版論文〈連溫卿與抗日左翼的分裂:台灣反殖民史的一個考查〉。劉紀蕙的子計畫「台灣現代性與文化主體性:一個精神分析的文化詮釋」,完成書稿《心的變異》,即將由麥田出版。梅家玲的子計畫「少年台灣:多重文學因緣中的少年論述與台灣想像」,出版論文〈兩岸關係中的文學想像:從反共小說到眷村小說〉。張誦聖的子計畫「八年代台灣文學生態:從鄉土文學運動到解嚴」,完成論文兩篇,九十一年度完成的書稿《台灣的文學文化:由戒嚴到市場規範》,即將由哥倫比亞大學出版。王德威的子計畫「後殖民、後遺民、後移民:台灣文學的三民主義」,完成論文〈畫夢記:朱西寧的小說藝術與歷史意識〉,並出版論文一篇。李奭學的子計畫「從都柏林人到台北人:論白先勇與西方意識流傳統」,寫成論文初稿〈括號的詩學:從吳爾芙的《戴維洛夫人》看白先勇的“遊園驚夢”〉,並發表白先勇研究專書之書評一篇。彭小妍的子計畫「後設美學和後現代性:解嚴後台灣小說研究」,發表論文三篇,出版一篇,並完成文稿「歷史、虛構與解嚴後眷村小說」。

"Formation of Canon: the Relationship Between Taiwanese Literature and World Literature" Project Report of 2003

Abstract

     This is the second-year report of the project, which started in January 2002. In the year 2003, while we began to prepare for the three-day conference to be co-sponsored by the Taipei CCK Foundation and the CCK Center at Columbia, scheduled to be held in July 2004, each individual project director carried on his or her research as planned. For the project "The Influence of Modern Japanese Literature on Modern Taiwanese Literature During the Japanese Occupation," Huang Ying-che completed the bibliography of the detective stories during the Japanese occupation, while Tarumi Chie published five papers. Chen Fang-ming published a paper titled "The Split Between Lien Wenqing and the Anti-Japanese Leftists: Research on the History of Taiwanese Anti-Colonialism" for his project on "Marxism in Taiwanese Literature, 1930-1937." Chi-hui Joyce Liu completed the manuscript The Heart's Perversion, to be published by Maitian Publishing Company, for her project on "Taiwan Modernity and Subjectivity: A Psychoanalytical Interpretation."  Mei Chia-ling published "The Literary Imagination Between the Straits: from Anti-Communist Fiction to Fiction from the Soldiers' Villages" for her project on "Taiwan's Youth: Discourse of Youth and Imagination of Taiwan in Multiple Literary Encounters." For her project on "Literary Culture in Taiwan: from the late 1970s to the late 1980s," Sung-sheng Yvonne Chang finished two papers, while her manuscript Literary Culture in Taiwan: from Martial Law to Market Law will be published by Columbia University Press in May. For his project on "Post-Colonialism, Post-Loyalism, and Post-Diasporism: Three Discourses in Modern Taiwan Literary Studies," David Der-wei Wang published a paper and finished another one on "Depicting Dreams: Zhu Xining's Fictional Art and Historical Consciousness." For his project on "The Dubliners in Taipei: Pai Hsien-yung and His Use of the Stream of Consciousness," Li Sher-shiueh wrote the draft of "Parenthetical Poetics: Pai Hsien-yung's 'Yiuyuan Jingmeng' from the Perspective of Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway" and published a book review on a study of Pai. For her project on "Metafictional Practice and Postmodernism: Taiwan Fiction of the Post-Martial Law Period," Peng Hsiao-yen presented three papers, published one, and finished the paper titled "History, Fiction, and Post-Martial Law Writers from the Soldiers' Villages."
